I am a native to the Seattle area and am thrilled to be working alongside my husband in Greenwood to help people achieve their ideal health and wellness!!

Why Chiropractic: My first experience with chiropractic didn't come until I was in college, though I wish I would have discovered it sooner!! I started having hip pain, but initially assumed it was just a pulled muscle from dance classes I had been taking and just waited for it to get better. When it didn't get better I went to the doctor. They did x-rays and other tests but could not tell me what was wrong with my hip and simply offered medications for the pain. I wasn't satisfied with that answer and decided to go see a chiropractor. The chiropractor was able to figure out what was wrong with my hip after so many doctors had not been able to give me answers, and he was able to help me!! Between adjustments, muscle work and exercises at their office I was pain free in my hip for the first time in 2 years. This experience made me realize that I wanted to be able to help people in the same way that the chiropractor helped me, I wanted to fix the problem instead of just treating the pain.

I am also very passionate about prenatal chiropractic care. I always have been, but am even more so after being pregnant myself! Because I received chiropractic care throughout my pregnancy I had a very comfortable pregnancy and did not experience a lot of the pains and discomforts that have come to be accepted as normal. I simply can't imagine ever going through pregnancy without receiving chiropractic care!

Education: I grew up in the greater Seattle area and attended Western Washington University and Seattle Pacific University studying Biology. I then attended Palmer West College of chiropractic in San Jose, CA. It was in chiropractic school that I met my wonderful husband. I was able to get a lot of experience treating athletes at area sporting events throughout school. I was also involved in the pediatrics club and attended many lectures about pediatric specific chiropractic care. 

More about me:  Outside of the office I coach synchronized swimming, the sport I love and participated in when I was younger. I love to swim, do yoga, and also have come to love running in the last five years. My husband, daughter Ellie and I love spending time outside, hiking together and camping. Oh and I am also a very big Seahawks fan, GO HAWKS!!!
